2. What inspired you to become an artist?
I was inspired by my desire to explore the world—its sunsets, landscapes, nights in different cities. Ultimately, it’s the movement and curiosity that drive me.
3. When did you start exploring art as a profession?
My mother recognized my creative potential from a young age and encouraged me to pursue art, even though neither of us knew how challenging the journey would be. She has been one of my greatest motivators, pushing me to follow the path where I felt most comfortable and to strive for success while finding ways to make a living through my passion. 5. What materials and techniques do you use in your work?
After the pandemic, I developed an interest in working with acrylics and oil paints, which led me to immerse myself in mastering these techniques. I dedicated two years to studying color theory with guidance from the masters at the art school in Barranquilla. Acrylics allow me to work quickly and layer dynamically, while oils offer a richness and depth that enhance the emotional impact of my work.
